TabTrade Overview - A Look at This New CFD Broker

The Broker — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Access to both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade does not.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not something most retail traders. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

That said. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you commit.

Everything in one place, including the full fee table, withdrawal policies, click here and website regulatory details, website is at tradetheday.com.
